As a diversification of industrial and business activities HARITHA HAWAI was incorporated in 1993. When the promoters discussed the details regarding diversification of industrial activity we were very particular that we should be able to utilise the resources available in Kerala. Hence we decided for a rubber based industry.

Promoters are : Sri. M. V. THOMAS, and his brother Sri. PAUL VARGHESE, Sri. K. C. JACOB and Sri. O. V. ALIAS (all are from Kizhakkambalam). ( The promoters are carrying on the other business activities of mining, crushing, transportation, contract works as well as large scale production and sale of coconut oil. )

A very good quantity of natural rubber is required daily for the uninterrupted production of HARITHA HAWAI which is procured from our own district which is really beneficial to the rubber producers. Providing employment to the educated youth from our locality was one of the main objectives at the time of starting HARITHA HAWAI. These were the primary objectives of the promoters for diversifying in to rubber based industry in our home town.

with Mr. M. V. Thomas		 After commissioning the 1st factory, sale of HARITHA HAWAI was commenced in November 1994. Thereafter within 2 years time Haritha Hawai was successfully marketed all over Kerala. In order to meet the increasing demand we have commissioned 5 more manufacturing units (total 6) in Kizhakkambalam itself providing employment to more than 300 workers directly and indirectly.
Haritha Hawai is marketed in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra in India and also being exported to SULTANATE OF OMAN, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES and KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA, etc. We are getting a lot of orders from other states in India like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, etc. and also from countries like South Africa, Madagasgar, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Qatar, etc. We are happy to state that HARITHA HAWAI is very well accepted in all the areas where it is being marketed. The whole hearted and sincere co-operation provided by our efficient distributors in Kerala and outside Kerala is highly encouraging.

Recently, our Managing Director Sri. M. V. Thomas and Director Sri. O. V. Alias visited Gulf countries to meet our distributors and dealers and also to meet the prospective distributors there. We are very happy to announce that we have received new orders from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Sultanate of Oman. Our distributors in Gulf countries are really interested in importing other products also from Kerala. Hence we have already promoted a new production and marketing set up by name 'HARITHA IMPEX PRIVATE LIMITED' through which we propose to import raw materials from Japan, South Korea etc. and also to export our products to several countries. A few other consumer items will also be exported through HARITHA IMPEX PRIVATE LIMITED, which will be successfully marketed in Gulf countries by the distributors of Haritha Hawai.
